My name is AJ Bodnar, but I go by AJ or Arpi. Home for me is Berea except during the summer when home is the Catskills. I am the accompanist for the Berea Country Dancers and Berea College’s dance program. My hobbies are music, the arts, photography, people, and monsters. A fun fact about me is that I speak Hungarian. I have been dancing since my childhood and have done ballet, tap, folk, social, and ballroom dancing. My favorite food is my own egg white omelet with vegan sausage and daiya cheese. My favorite color is red. The entire planet fascinates me.

I am the Circulation Desk Assistant at Berea College. My hobbies are hiking, canoeing, and swimming. A fun fact about me is that my cat’s name is Furry and he has orange fur. I started dancing when I was 10. I’ve done ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling, and aerial arts. I did this through Cirque D’art Theatre. I also did 4 years in marching band color guard. My favorite food is strawberries and my favorite color is blue. If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to Japan.

I have been dancing for about a year, but am now the Country Dance Program’s Costumer. My favorite food is caramel gelato and my favorite color is purple. I have been dancing for 35 years doing Country Dancing. My favorite food is usually what’s in front of me. I see chicken curry in my very near future. My favorite color is sometimes turquoise. If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to Scotland.

I enjoy country dancing so much that I have danced in a sling. I have been dancing for 4 years doing Country Dancing. My favorite food is mijito sauced chicken and yellow is my favorite color. My name is Alexandra Housley, but I go by Lexie. Home for me is Spring City, TN. I am a junior at Berea College and am majoring in Studio Art and Printmaking with a minor in Art History as well as Asian Studies. I am a student supervisor at Berea College. My hobbies are video games and digital drawing. A fun fact about me is that coffee makes me sleepy. I have been dancing with the Country Dancers since my freshman year and that is the only dancing I have done. I LOVE nachos and cheese. My favorite color is black. I want to visit Alaska.

My name is Siree McRady. I am the Country Dancer Assistant. I consider home to be Chiang Mai, Thailand and Bell Buckle, TN. I am a freshman at Berea College and am planning to major in Elementary Education. I like to dance traditional Thai dance, read, watch movies, cross stitch, make crafts, go thrift store shopping, and work in the theatre running lights for plays. A fun fact about me is that my first language was Thai and I did not learn English until I was about 4 years old. I have never done Country Dancing before, but have been doing traditional Thai dance since the second grade. I was also in a hip hop/kpop dance group for a couple of years. My favorite food is Thai stir fry basil (ผัดกระเพราหมู) and my favorite color is blue. I want to travel the whole world!!!
My name is Katrin Arango, but once people know my name, they call me Kat. I consider home to be no where. I am a global citizen or better known as a TCK (Third Culture Kid). Home could also be wherever my dog is which right now, is my dorm. I am a junior and am majoring in Nursing. I am an FA in the Draper Building. I like walking and hiking with my dog. I also like to write and play music as well as sing during my free time. A fun fact about me is that I have a world record for the most meters rowed on a concept 2 rowing machine with an under 18 small Baylor Girls team. I danced ballet for 8 years and danced tap and jazz for a couple of years. I danced contra for the first time in October of 2017. I love lentils and to me, aqua and purple are gorgeous colors. If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to Switzerland.

I work as a Behavioral Neuro TA at Berea College. My hobbies are baking new recipes, jule and hemp, fungi, gems and minerals, dirt, being cute and amazing, screaming, and affection with no hugs. A fun fact about me is that I love donating blood. I danced on point in high school and I danced in one of Berea College’s dance groups AIMM (Artists in Modern Motion) last year.
